🔄 Prestashop items sync

Connect your Prestashop store to your checkout to automatically sync your items and record online sales.

Import items from Prestashop

Synchronization allows you to automatically import or update the list of items in your checkout based on the data entered in Prestashop.

Prestashop side configuration

  1. Log in to your Prestashop administration interface.
  2. Go to Advanced Settings > Webservices .
  3. Click Add Webservice Key .
  4. Generate a key, copy it, then check the GET rights for the necessary resources (minimum: categories, images, languages, products, tax_rule_groups).
  5. Save the changes.

Cashier side configuration

  1. Go to Config > General Options > Commands .
  2. Enter your Prestashop domain name (eg. xxxxx.pswebshop.com ) and your API key .
  3. Click Save to save the configuration.
  4. In the Items configuration page, click the Synchronize button to start the import or update.

Prestashop module (automatic sales recording)

A Prestashop module is also available to automatically record sales made on your online store in the checkout.

  1. Download the Prestashop cash register module .
  2. In your Prestashop back office, open Module Manager .
  3. Click Install Module , then select the downloaded module file.
  4. Once installed, click Configure .
  5. In the cash register software, copy the API Key and Shop ID information, then paste them into the module configuration.

VAT and delivery charges

In Europe, delivery charges must generally be subject to VAT, at the same rate as the products delivered.

  • Create an item named, for example, Shipping Costs and apply the appropriate VAT rate to it.
  • In case of mixed order (products with different VAT rates), you can apply the lowest rate, unless it is 0%.

This page guides you through connecting and configuring the Prestashop module with your cash register.

1. Cashier account connection

After installing the module on Prestashop, the first step is to enter your API key and your shop ID .

This information is available in the cash register software, on the Webservice page.

2. Configuration of variations

First create your variations in Prestashop and in your cash register .

?? Please note: a maximum of 5 variations per product. Orders beyond this limit will not be submitted to the checkout.

3. Advanced options

In the Options tab of the Prestashop module, you can synchronize your site's server time with the checkout time (useful if you use a delivery schedule).

You can also define under which cash register user the orders will be recorded.
