Postal notifications
Postal notifications allow you to automatically send a paper letter to your customers when certain situations require it.
These emails are sent by our own service. You do not need to perform any technical configuration.
Functioning
When a letter needs to be sent, the document is automatically generated from the information available in the customer file and in the relevant order.
The letter is then printed, placed in an envelope and sent by post.
Customer address
In order for a letter to be sent, the customer's postal address must be correctly entered in their customer file.
Letter templates
Postal letters use standardized templates. Their content is automatically adapted according to the type of notification to be sent.
Unlike text messages or emails, these letters are not intended to be highly personalized. They must remain clear, official, and easy to understand.
Shipping cost
To send this type of notification, you need credits, which can be purchased on the License page.
The cost of a postal notification depends in particular on the number of pages, the country of destination and the postal delivery costs.
Each letter sent can therefore have a different cost depending on its content and destination.
Best practices
- Always check the customer's postal address before sending.
- Use postal mail only for important information.
- Keep your content clear, short, and professional.
- Avoid unnecessary shipments to limit costs.
