Printing a receipt

The receipt is printed as it appears in the "Receipt preview" insert.
This can be either the current receipt, or the receipt for a specific order, via the order history consultation page.

Print a ticket

To print a receipt via standard printing, simply click on the "print receipt" button on the cash register keyboard, this will trigger the printing of the receipt on the printer currently configured in the software (by default the printer selected on your system).

Standard printing

All printers recognized by the system are compatible with this printing method.
Configuring your printer's margins may be necessary depending on your hardware.
Remember to configure the browser's margins and print format by going to your browser's print configuration windows available in "File - Page Setup". The browser also adds headers and footers that can be deactivated in standard printing.
This method has the advantage of requiring no installation, but does require margin settings, and imposes a dialog box when printing. To obtain printing without a dialog box, it is necessary to use another printing method.
Under Android it is possible to use standard printing because the Android operating system allows you to manage printers, but only certain models are compatible to be configured in the operating system.

Epson Ethernet ePos printing with our Android or iOs applications

Connecting an Epson printer with Android and iOs versions is done on the Configuration page, General options, in the "Hardware" paragraph.You must activate the "Epson ePos" printing option, then use the "Find a printer" button.

Epson Ethernet ePos printing (via local network) with an internet browser

It is possible, on all device models, to activate printing via local network on an Epson printer with Ethernet connectivity.
This printing method allows you to print without a dialog box.
This technique has the advantage of being compatible with all platforms (under Firefox, IE, Chrome, Safari, Linux or Windows browser) and all applications, but requires an Epson printer with Ethernet connectivity.
Notes for installing an Ethernet printer:
To install your Ethernet printer, you must first connect it to the network, turn it on, then configure an IP address of the printer on your local network, for example 192.168.1.168, this can be done via the utility provided by Epson for printer installation, named EpsonNet Config.
Once the printer is connected, it is necessary to go to the printer configuration page with your browser, for example http://192.168.1.168 then activate the Epson ePos Print option, and choose a name for the "device ID" field.You will then need to enter the IP address chosen for your printer, as well as the device ID chosen on the receipt configuration page after having activated the "Using an Epson Ethernet printer" option.
Depending on the production series of your Epson Ethernet printer, your printer may be configured with the IP address 192.168.192.168 by default. To configure it, you must therefore change the local IP address of your computer to an address that begins with 192.168.192.At the back of the device there is a small button that can be pressed using a pencil: when the device is turned on, hold it down for 5 seconds to print the printer information ( IP address, etc.). Turn off the printer, press and hold this same button, turn on the printer which then prints a text, release the button, and the printer returns to factory settings.When you access the printer configuration interface (at the address http://192.168.192.168) you may be asked for a login and password, by default it is Login: epson Password password: epson (the password can also be the serial number of the device).
It may also be necessary to accept a security warning on devices that will use the printer. To accept the possible security warning (this depends on the browser used), you must go to this software in the printer configuration page, use the "Open Epson configuration page" button, and accept the warning security warning, optionally checking "Always accept security warning".

Direct printing without dialog box via applications

One method for printing receipts without a dialog box is to use one of the printers whose drivers have been integrated into our applications.
These printers are listed on the Hardware page (KKMoon, mPop, Epson), each has compatibility information displayed on the same page.
It will then be necessary to use one of our applications (Windows, Windows Phone, Android or iOs) and select the connected printer in the software (this printing option is configured on the receipt configuration page) to be able to operate the printer.
This method has the advantage of removing dialog boxes when printing, and allowing automatic printing of the ticket when the order is completed.

Personalization of the receipt

By going to the general configuration page, you can set up an image at the header of your receipts. This must be in PNG or JPG or GIF format. Your image will be automatically resized if its dimensions are greater than 350x80px (height or width).On this same page, you can also personalize the header or footer text of the receipt.

The printer can only work in bluetooth and needs tobe paired to your device, then it will be automatically detected in our software, no setup is needed. However, if you have multiple printers, you can go to Setup, Receipt page in order to select the desired bluetooth device.
If you use the KKmon printer, you might have to change the charset of the printer to match your local charset.
