Expiration date management
📅 The software allows you to manage the best before dates of your items (BBD).
⚙️ Activating the feature
To enable this feature, go to the page Configuration > General Options, then activate the option in the paragraph Item Catalog Options.
You can also set a warning period (in days) before reaching the best before date of an item.
📝 Configuring DLC for Items
Once enabled, you will be able to set the best before date for each item from the item configuration page.
📦 If you sell the same item with several different best before dates, you must assign them separate barcodes to differentiate them.
📋 Tracking Near or Expired Items
On the cash register closing page, the software automatically displays:
- ✅ Items approaching their expiration date (marked in warning color)
- ❌ Items whose DLC has expired (displayed in red)
