Select a department

Click on one of the buttons to display items of this department. To remove the filter, press ESC. If multiple pages of items are available, the next button allows you to cycle through the pages of the currently selected range.

Select an item

Click the button to add an item to the current order.
If multiple items are sold, first enter the number of items ordered, then press the corresponding item's button.
If the item is sold in weight, first select the weight using the numeric keypad, and then click the item's button.

Select a payment method

Select a payment method on the right of the keyboard.
Nb: selecting the method of payment without entering the amount paid, then the payment is considered cash.

Sale with change

Select an item

Select the items

Select the items that will appear in the order.

Select the paid items

By clicking on the lines of the receipt, you can select items for a partial payment of the order.
The total price of selected items is displayed on the digital display.
Another click on the element can remove it from the list of items being paid.
Finally select the amount paid and the payment method.

Unregistered item sale

Select/Calculate the item's price

To record the sale of an unregistered item, enter the price with the numeric keypad.
If several units are sold or if the item is sold in weight, use the "Multiplication" key of the keyboard.

Optionnal : Select a department

Click on the department in which the item will be registered

Select the paid amount and the payment method

Using the numeric keypad on the left of the keypad, enter the amount paid. Select a payment method on the right of the keyboard. Nb: selecting the method of payment without entering the amount paid, then the payment is considered cash. The amount remaining to be paid appears at the end of the receipt and on the digital display of the cash register.

Apply a discount

Apply discount on an item

After adding the item to the order, click on the discount you want to apply, on the discount block part of the keyboard.

Apply a discount on selected items

If you need, you can select items on the receipt, then apply a discount in order to apply the discount only to the selected elements.

Override command total price

Overriding the total price of command lets you override the price of a set of items to a particular value (regardless to individual item's price).
Also with this functionality you can make a fixed price for a set of items as a promo pack (for example fixed price of a menu containing various dishes).
In order to set up a fixed price amount, you first have to create a Discount and provide a value for the "Fixed amount" field.
When you will apply this type of discount to an order, the total price of the order will be changed to the provided fixed price in the discount.
You can afterwards add other items which will not be included into the fixed amount item set's price.

Do a refund

To make a refund, you must have administrator or manager rights.

Simple refund

In order to do a simple refund of a known amount, enter the amount of the refund on the numeric keypad, then select a method of payment for refund.
The amount refunded will be displayed in red on the receipt and a sale of negative value is recorded for the current day.

Refund of registered items

To refund a registered item, optionally select the department, then select the desired item.
To finish entering items refunded, enter a refund method with the payment type block of the keyboard.

Proceed to the complete refund of an order

In order to refund an order, you first have to load it from HISTORY page.
Then choose on the keyboard the refund method you like (credit card, cash, ...).
A new order is created at current time, containing all the items from the former order, but with a negative amount.

Proceed to the partial refund of an order

In order to refund an order, you first have to load it from HISTORY page.
The select on the receipt the items you want to refund.
Then choose on the keyboard the refund method you like (credit card, cash, ...).
A new order is created at current time, containing the items you selected from the former order, but with a negative amount.

Cancel current item selection or current command

The "ESC" button to cancel the current operation.
It can be on several levels:
- If an amount is being entered at the keypad, it is deleted
- Otherwise, if a multiplier is entered at the keypad, it is initialized to 1
- Otherwise, if a filter is applied on the departments, it is deleted
- Otherwise if the user confirms, the current command is canceled

An order can be cancelled only if no payment has already been proceeded.
In this case you might want to refund the order (see refund help section)

Printing a receipt

Using a computer (Mac, PC, ...)

In order to print a receipt, simply click on the "Print receipt" button.
The ticket is printed as it appears in the box "Receipt".
It can be either the current receipt or the receipt of a specific order, when viewing through the command history.
Printers installed on your system (Windows, Mac, ...) are automatically detected, it is not necessary to perform a particular installation in the cash register.
Please remind setting up margins on your browser, in margin and page display option page.

Using a touchpad or smartphone (IOS, Android, ...)

On mobile devices (touchpads, smartphones), you need to use Google cloud print option, and have a google cloud compatible printer (see "google cloud print" on google for more information).
Then in the SETUP, ACTIONS page, simply add a "Google cloud print" action to the action list. You will then see a Google cloud print option in the keyboard of the cash register.

Customization of receipts

If you go to the general setup page, you will be able to setup a header image for your receipts. This image can be PNG, JPG or GIF file, can the size will be resized so that the image would fit in a 350x80px rectangle. In this same page you can also setup the header and footer text of your receipts.

Opening of the cash register

Before opening your sale point :
- Login to the cash register
- Check paper in the printer
- Navigate to the page "Sales"
- Click on "Open cash register"
- Fill in the current cash balance

Close cash register

- Navigate to the page "Sales" and select "Close the cash register"
- Enter the amount of cash in cash register
- Leave the necessary cash for the next opening
- Check the total checks, CB
- Disconnect the cash register
- Put the money in secure location

View your sale activity

To view the sales reports, navigate to HISTORY page.
This page shows the history of sales of the day.
Click on a line of history to bring up the receipt of this order, with details of items attached. By default, the history shows the current day, but you can also view the history of previous days using the navigation located at header of the table.

Add notes on an item

This feature let you edit the title of an order's item.
In order to activate this feature, you need to check the option into Config, Items page.
During an order, it will then be possible to double click on an item, directly on the receipt, in order to be able to edit it and add precisions.
This operation will only modify the title of the item, in this particular order, but will not change the price of the item.
This feature is meant for taking notes on a particular item (for example : pizza without mushrooms).

Split an order

If your clients have ordered as as group, you can split the order before processing the payment in order to have separate receipts.
This action is only available if the order hasn't been validated yet.
In order to select the items of the order you want to split appart, directly click on the corresponding lines of the receipt.
When your selection is done, click the New order button.
The elements you selected are now part of a new order, with its dedicated invoice, and the selected items have been removed from the first order.

Access the sales graphs

In order to view sales reports, you have to navigate to page "REPORTS".

Orders' Export as a datasheet
2 filetypes are available in order to export sales report :
- Excel : Microsoft Excel compatible file
- CSV : For other software
These reports list all the paid sales for the selected period..

PDF report
PDF reports let you access a very large number of sub-reports and graphs for the selected period.
The rendering of these files is very CPU consuming, so these files are only updated after a particular amount of time. Please refer to the date shown on the report in order to check Report generation date.
If the selected period is over, then the report will never change again, so the file is certified with cryptographic key, in order to guarantee that the file has not been altered.
This document could be used a a proof of probity.

SAF-T Export

SAF-T files are accounting reports designed for your accountant or fiscal services.
SAF-T (Standard Audit File for Tax) is an international standard for electronic exchange of reliable accounting data from organizations to a national tax authority or external auditors.
The standard is defined by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
You can use softwares to view the SAF-T reports like SAF-T Analyser.
In order to check the authenticity and validity of SAF-T files, you can use our cryptographic public key.

General preferences

To access this page, you must have administrator rights.
To access the General Configuration page, navigate to the SETUP page then on "General Options"
Within this page, you can change the name of the shop, the petty cashbox by default, the default VAT type (among configured VAT types) the calculation of VAT *, and also set the header and footer of receipts issued by the cash register.
* The method of calculating VAT can be included or excluded.
If VAT is included, then the prices entered will be considered including VAT.
In this page you can also set up paypal payment (see respective help pages), setup the closing time of your shop and your timezone.
The ID card option is for when you want sellers to have to type in a ID card number attached to the order when the payment method is check.
The currency will be used in all the software. If you need to use several currencies, you have to create a seccond account.

Setting up items

To do this, you must have administrator rights.
To access the items configuration page, browse to the "Configuration" menu, then "Items".

Adding a new item

In order to add a new item to the list, click the "Add" button at the top of the table. Then fill in the fields offered in the window that appears.

Modifying an existing item

To edit an existing article, double-click the field you want to edit.
When your changes are complete, press Enter to confirm the entry.
The changes are saved for each field change.
To change the image of an existing item, click on the image and fill in the resulting form.

Meaning of the different fields

- Name: The name of the item as it appears on the receipt and on the keyboard - VAT: The VAT rate that applies for this item. If "Department" is selected (default), the department's VAT is configured. - Discount : The discount that applies for this item. If "Department" is selected (default) the department's discount is configured. - Price: The price of the item - Department: The departmentin which this item belongs - Image: The image that is displayed on the key on the cash register - Position: The position of the entry on the keyboard. You can also drag and drop the line to change the display order.

Buying price management

Activating the Buying price management feature in the General Option page will let you provide a buying price for your items. The generated reports will let you get figures about the benefits you made on the sales.

Setting up departments

To do this, you must have administrator rights.
To access the configuration page of the departments, navigate to the "Setup", then submenu "Departments"

Adding a new department

To add a new department to the list, click on the "Add" button at the top of the table. Then fill in the fields offered in the window that appears.

Modifying an existing department

In order to edit an existing department, double click the field you want to edit.
When your changes are complete, press Enter to confirm the entry.
The changes are saved for each field change.
To change the image of an existing item, click on the image and fill in the resulting form.

Meaning of the different fields

- Name : The name of the department as it appears on the receipt and on the keyboard
- VAT : The VAT rate which applies by default to the department items
- Discount: The discount that applies by default to the department items
- Image: the image that is displayed on the key on the cash register

To do this, you must have administrator rights.
To access the User Configuration, navigate to the "Setup" menu and then on "Users"

Adding a new user

In order to add a new user to the list, click the "Add" button at the top of the table.
Then fill in the fields offered in the window that appears.

Modifying an existing user

To edit an existing user, double-click the field you want to edit.
When your changes are complete, press Enter to confirm the entry.
The changes are saved for each field change.

Meaning of the different fields

- Name : The user name as displayed on the receipt, and used to identify the account
- PW: The password of the user
- Rights : The rights granted to the user: Administrator, Manager, or Employee. Depending on the rights granted, the user will be able to access certain functions of the cash register.
- TTC (not editable): The total time connected with the account
- IP (not editable): The last known IP address of the user
- Last appearance (not editable): The date of the last user presence
- Total Sales (not editable): Total Cumulative sales made by the user

Setting up VATs

To do this, you must have administrator rights.
To access the VAT Configuration, navigate to the "Setup" menu and then on "VAT"

Adding a new VAT rate

To add a new rate of VAT to the list, click on the "Add" button at the top of the picture.
Then fill in the fields offered in the window that appears.

Modifying an existing VAT

To edit an existing VAT rate, double click the field you want to edit.
When your changes are complete, press Enter to confirm the entry.
The changes are saved for each field change.

Meaning of the different fields

- Name : The name of the VAT as displayed on the receipt and on the keyboard
- Value : The value of tax rate

Setting up discounts/supplements/fixed prices

To do this, you must have administrator rights.
To access the Discounts Configuration, navigate to the "Setup", then submenu "Discounts/Supplements"

Adding a new discount/supplement/fixed price

To add a a new discount/supplement/fixed price to the list, click on the "Add" button at the top of the picture.
Then fill in the fields offered in the window that appears.

Modifying an existing Discount/supplement/fixed price

In order to edit an existing discount/supplement/fixed price, double click the field you want to edit.
When your changes are complete, press Enter to confirm the change.
The changes are saved for each field change.

Meaning of the different fields

- Name : The name of the discount as displayed on the receipt and on the keyboard
- Value : The percentage value of the discount
- Amount : The fixed amount of the discount, if a percentage is also configured, it will be applied first.
- Fixed price: The fixed price that will be affected to the current order (see Override command total price).

Setting up actions/payment methods

To do this, you must have administrator rights.
To access the actions configuration page, navigate to the "Settings", then under "Actions" menu

Adding a new action

To add a new action to the list, click on the "Add" button at the top of the table.
Then fill in the fields offered in the window that appears.

Modifying an existing action

To edit an existing action, double-click the field you want to edit.
When your changes are complete, press Enter to confirm the change.
The changes are saved for each field change.

Meaning of the different fields

- Name : The name as displayed on the receipt and on the keyboard
- Position : The position of the entry on the keyboard. You can also drag and drop the line to change the display order.
- Type : The type of action.

Differents types of actions

These types are fixed: Cash, Credit card, Check, Cash refund, CB refund, Check refund
The type influences the processing of the transaction, the refunds actions are not available to employees, but only to managers and administrators.
Some types are special:
- Ticket printing : Configure an action that triggers printing of the current receipt
- Subtotal : Allows a subtotal of the order
- New command : allows to pause the current order and start a new one

Setting up cashboxes

To do this, you must have administrator rights.
To access the Cashboxes Configuration, navigate to the "Setup" menu and then on "Cashboxes"

Adding a new cashbox

To add a new cashbox to the list, click on the "Add" button at the top of the table.
Then fill in the fields offered in the window that appears.

Modifying an existing cashbox

To edit an existing cashbox, double-click the field you want to edit.
When your changes are complete, press Enter to confirm the entry.
The changes are saved for each field change.

Meaning of the different fields

- Name : The name of the fund as displayed on the receipt
- Petty cash box: The amount of money left in the cashbox for the next opening
- Balance : The present amount of cash on hand
- Creation date : The date of creation of the cashbox
- State : The state of the cashbox : Open or closed (a closed box may not have activity)
- State Change : The date and time when the case was opened / closed for the last time

Setting up paypal credit card payment

To do this, you must have administrator rights.
To have the payment by Paypal activated, you must have a PayPal account.
Once your paypal account available, navigate to the page "Configuration> Shop" and enter your merchant account ID (in paypal, go to "Preferences"> "More options".
Once your account ID registered, a new mode of payment is available on the keyboard.

Credit card payment with Payleven

Payleven provides a hardware and solution in order to process credit card payments with a tablet or a mobile phone.
Payleven can charge Visa, Mastercard, V-Pay and Maestro cards, under iOs or Android.
In order to enable this payment feature in the cash register software, you need to create a Payleven account first:
Payleven, Accept payments with a tablet or a mobile phone
Payleven will take care of the hardware delivery and the activation of your autorisation.
Once the terminal is connected to your device, and the payleven app installed on your device, you can activate the payleven option in the cash register software.
In order to enable the payleven feature, you need to check the option in Setup, General options, Payment page.

Import and export lists of items

In order interface the cash register with another software, and automatically update PLUs, stock, buying price, or even item names.
In the Setup > Items page, you will find 2 buttons, one is named "Import", the other "Export".
The Export button lets you download the list of items that are currently set up in the cash register.
The import button lets you import the same kind of file you can get from an export operation. You can delete, add, or update lines in the document, it will automatically be detected. The software will ask you wether to perform Deletes, Updates, or Inserts, and finally apply the changes.

Stock management

If you want to use stock management in the cash register, you have to activate the option in the SETUP, GENERAL OPTIONS page.
Then in the PLUs config page, you will see a new column : Quantity.
In this field you have to provide the available quantity of you product.
Minus one means there is no quantity management for this product.
You will be alerted when less than 3 items remains.

Departments groups

If you have too many Departments you can activate the Group of departments feature in the General Options page.
This feature will let you classify departments into groups through a new Setup page named "Department groups".
Once groups of departments have been set up, you will be able to select a group of department before selecting a department within the cash register main interface.

Take away/deliver features

If you are handling in your activity the delivery of products, you may find usefull the following available features.
By activating the Take away/Deliver feature, in the general options page, the cash register will then ask you for a client account when creating a new order.
You then have to choose between a existing or new client account. In order to find an existing account, you can search for it with a name, surname or a phone number.
You will then have to check or type in the necessary information about your client (information that is marked as mandatory can be set up in general options page).
The receipt will therefore contain a separate part for the delivery process, mentionning the address of the delivery (or other).

Eatin features/Table management

You can activate Table management system in the Setup, Order page. Once the feature is enabled, you can access the Setup, Tables page in order to setup the table plan of your shop. Different models of tables, couch and pieces of decoration are available in order to map the architecture of your place. In order to delete an element, drag it utside of display area, if you want to rotate an element, click on it.
During an order, sellers can select the Eatin option, and then will be asked to select a table.

Order preparation

If your orders need to be cooked, or prepared, this feature will let you have a dedicated page to order's preparation.
You can enable this feature in the Setup, Order page.
Once the option activated, you can then access a new page in the menu called "Preparation". In this page you can view the recent orders, and tick the items when preparation is done. This page updates automatically, there is no need to refresh. When this feature is enabled, you can grant a new right to users called "Preparator" which gives access only to the needed functions.

Loyalty points

If you want to give to your clients loyalty points they could then use as a payment method, simply activate the Loyalty points feature in the General config page.
You will then have to provide the amount of points earned with 1 unit of money, and the amout of money they will get from 1 loyalty point.
Current custommer's loyalty points are shown in the receipts
In order to activate payment with Loyalty points, you have to add the payment action of type "Loyaty points payment" in the Actions setup page.

Prestashop items sync

In order to be able to synchronize your list of items with your prestashop account, you nedd to provide a webservice key and the domain name of your prestashop account.
When logged in with your prestashop account, go to the Advanced parameters, Webservice page.
In this page, click the "Add new key" button.
You will have to generate a key, copy it for later use, then check all the GET rights.
In your cash register, simply provide in the Setup > Items page, your API key and the domain of your presta-shop (ex : shop.pswebshop.com).
Then the Synchronize button will let you choose what kind of modification you want to import to the system.

NFC tag reading

What is a NFC tag ?
NFC tags are numeric signatures installed in most credit cards and in recent phones. Compatible credit cards have an small logo on the front. In order to check if an element supports NFC, simply approach it next to the reader, it should interact. On Android devices the reader is usually the back of the device. The cash register android application has to be installed in order to activate the interactions.

What can i do with NFC tags ?
With this tags, you can identify your client very quickly, with their credit card, or their phone. Just before the client payment, scan his phone or his credit card, the system will recognize him, you will therefore be able to trace the orders of a client, manage loyalty points, check debts or unpaid orders, ...
Another way to use the NFC tags is to attach the tag to your system account. Then it will be very easy to login on the cash register, just approach your credit card next to your NFC reader, and your logged in !

Requisites
In order to be able to read NFC tags contained in credit cards, in mobile phones, in MiFare cards, you must either :
- have an Android device supporting NFC and you need to install the cash register application
- have a MiFare D-Logic card reader as linked in the shop, with the specific drivers we distribute running as a task (Windows only)

Requisites under Windows
Under Windows, when you µFr D-logic NFC reader is connected to your computer, you then need to start our driver adapter software linked below. This software will run in background while you use the cash register software.
Before buying the hardware ensure this software can open on your system.

Drivers MiFare D-Logic µFr NFC reader

How the software handles it ?
If you are in a form of a client creation/modification, then the scanned NFC tag will be attached to this client.
During an order, if you scan an unknown NFC tag, you will have the choice to attach it to the current user or to the customer currently attached to current order.
If you scan the tag of a registered customer, then this customer will be attached to the current order.

Recording orders with keyboard on a computer

Various keyboard shortcuts are available to allow you to enter commands faster on a computer.
You can enter an amount or perform simple to opértations using the numeric keypad (0-9) and the + key (addition) and * key (multiplication).
Using the keyboard, you can enter the name of your article, the press the "Enter" key to select the first item containing the typed name.
F1 to F12 keys lets you select a payment method, the order is the same as the display on the keyboard.
Use "Escape" or "Backspace" key to simulate the pressing of the ESC button.

Barcodes

In order to use the barcode detection on cash register software, you need to dispose of either a webcam, a device with a camera (touchpad,...), or a laser barcode reader pluged in.

How to activate functionality
In order to activate the barcode reading function, you have to go to the SETUP page, then GENERAL OPTIONS, then check the option "Barcode reading".

Webcam activation (PC,Mac)
On a computer, Flash player is used to access the webcam. You then need to have flash installed on your browser. Then when checkeing the barcode option in setup page, you should check if you webcam is properly shown in the pop up that appears. This config option will only be saved for the current device..

Android activation (Phone, Touchpad,...)
In order to use your touchpad's camera to read barcode, you first need to install the latest android application of Cash register.

Laser barcode reading (PC,Mac)
In order to use your laser barcode reader, you need to plug it either in USB or PS/2 mode to your computer as explained in the config manual of the reader.

Barcodes setup

First thing you need to do is record the barcodes you are using in your shop. In order to do that you have to go to the SETUP, PLUS config page.

Adding new item with a barcode
Simply scan a new barcode while being in the setup page, and you will be prompted to enter the other details needed.

Set up or modify a barcode for an existing item
If you want to modifiy to associated barcode of an tiem, just click the Barcode column on the line of the item, then scan the barcode.

Searching an item with a barcode
If you want to search an item in order to edit it, you can simply scan its barcode.

Barcodes

When setup of barcodes is finished you can now start using barcodes for product detection.
Just go to the keyboard page and start to scan barcodes.

Best way to manipulate
At first it is quite difficult to be efficient with camera barcode reading, but with some little training, it improves a lot. You have to remember that with camera devices you have to put the barcode on the good direction (horizontally), not too close to the captor (10 cm) and it can still work quite far (it detects white squares). The detection works better under a good light.
On the android application, use the volume buttons you may have on your device to start or stop barcode scanning. Hold the object steady, otherwise the image is blur, and detection will not work. When a barcode is detected, you device should vibrate and play a little sound (only a sound on computer).

Manual barcode typing
If you can't manage to get a parcicular barcode to be read, you can still type in the number of the bar code : first press space button, then type in the barcode. As soon as only one barcode matches what you entered, a sound is played.

Reseting cash register's sales history

If you were practicing with the cash register, and you want to completely reset sales history, you can proceed to Setup > General options page, then click the "Reset sales history" button.
This action will permanently delete every sale made with the cash register, but be carefull : there is no possible rollback.

Is there a way to have a standalone version of the cash register ?
Here comes the explanation :
Free Cash register has been online for more than 5 years, and we hope this will keep going on for years.
Nowadays internet connections are getting better and better, a now can be very relyable.
There is still the option for you to have a failover internet connection and you can also simply use a mobile phone's connection as a relay.
As this software works as well on computers or mobile phones, or tablets, there will always be an alternative for you to proceed to the recording of your sales on a different device in case of a hardware problem.
Centralized data : your data should not be splitted between separate hosts, otherwise, there would be sync issues we both don't want to face (eg for stock management, end of day report, ...).
The developper of this cash register software is a former Bank business-software developper, and has valuable knowledge about security of banking data, so please trust this software to be secured and robust : your data is in a safe place.

The purpose of this application is to help small commercial projects growing without any investments. We all know how important it is to be helped at the beginning of an activity.

Your data is stored in secured datacenters with high availability.
We will never transmit your data to a third.
We will never use your data on commercial purpose.

We are not responsible for any loss of data, or service disruption, data is your responsibility.
Paypal payments dont go through our servers. We only transmit the amout that needs to be paid to your paypal account, and paypal takes care of security. We don't want to store your payment details, we only need the paypal address that gets the payment.
Payment security is fully provided by paypal.

Don't use Free cash register for anything illegal or transmit any harmful code. Remember that with any violation of these terms we will cancel your service.

2. Account Activation

  1. Subject to section 2.2, the person signing up for the Service will be the contracting party ("Account Owner") for the purposes of our Terms of Service and will be the person who is authorized to use any corresponding account we may provide to the Account Owner in connection with the Service.
  2. If you are signing up for the Service on behalf of your employer, your employer shall be the Account Owner. If you are signing up for the Service on behalf of your employer, then you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind your employer to our Terms of Service.

The person signing up for the Free cash register Service is responsible for the account and is bound by these Terms of Service. If you signup on behalf of your employer, your employer owns the account and is also bound by our Terms of Service.

3. General Conditions

  1. Technical support is only provided to paying Account holders and is only available via email.
  2. The Terms of Service shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the France, without regard to principles of conflicts of laws.   4. Verbal or written abuse of any kind (including threats of abuse or retribution) of any Free cash register customer, Free cash register employee, member, or officer will result in immediate Account termination.
  5. We reserve the right to provide our services to your competitors and make no promise of exclusivity in any particular market segment. You further acknowledge and agree that Free cash register employees and contractors may also be Free cash register customers/merchants and that they may compete with you, although they may not use your confidential information in doing so.
  6. In the event of a dispute regarding Account ownership, we reserve the right to request documentation to determine or confirm Account ownership. Documentation may include, but is not limited to, a scanned copy of your business license, government issued photo ID, the last four digits of the credit card on file, etc.
  7. Free cash register retains the right to determine, in our sole judgment, rightful Account ownership and transfer an Account to the rightful owner. If we are unable to reasonably determine the rightful Account owner, Free cash register reserves the right to temporarily disable an Account until resolution has been determined between the disputing parties.

Which means

We can modify, cancel or refuse the service at anytime.

In the event of an ownership dispute over a Free cash register account, we can freeze the account or transfer it to the rightful owner.

5. Limitation of Liability

  1. You expressly understand and agree that Free cash register shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses resulting from the use of or inability to use the service.
  2. We are not responsible if you break the law, breach this agreement or go against the rights of a third party, especially if you get sued.

Service is "as is" so it may have errors or interruptions and we provide no warranties.

6. Waiver and Complete Agreement

The failure of Free cash register to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. 7. Intellectual Property and Customer Content

  1. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over the material you provide to the Free cash register service. All material you upload remains yours. You can remove your Free cash register store at any time by deleting your Account.
  2. By uploading Store Content, you agree: (a) to allow other internet users to view your Store Content; (b) to allow Free cash register to display and store your Store Content; and (c) that Free cash register can, at any time, review all the Store Content submitted by you to its Service.
  3. You retain ownership over all Store Content that you upload to a Free cash register store; however, by making your store public, you agree to allow others to view your Store Content. You are responsible for compliance of Store Content with any applicable laws or regulations.
  4. We will not disclose your confidential information to third parties, except as required in the course of providing our services. Confidential information includes any materials or information provided by you to us which is not publicly known. Confidential information does not include information that: (a) was in the public domain at the time we received it; (b) comes into the public domain after we received it through no fault of ours; (c) we received from someone other than you without breach of our or their confidentiality obligations; or (d) we are required by law to disclose.
  5. Free cash register shall have the non-exclusive right and license to use the names, trademarks, service marks and logos associated with your store to promote the Service.

Anything you upload remains yours and your responsibility.

8. Payment of Fees

  1. A valid credit card or a paypal account is required for the subscription of a premium account.
  2. All fees are exclusive of applicable federal, provincial, state, local or other governmental sales, goods and services, harmonized or other taxes, fees or charges now in force or enacted in the future ("Taxes").
  3. You are responsible for all applicable Taxes that arise from or as a result of your subscription to or purchase of Free cash register's products and services.
  4. Free cash register does not provide refunds.

Which means

Tax is not included. No refunds.

9. Cancellation and Termination

You may cancel your Account at anytime by using the button in your account page.

Upon termination of the Services by either party for any reason:

  1. Free cash register will cease providing you with the Services and you will no longer be able to access your Account;
  2. unless otherwise provided in the Terms of Service, you will not be entitled to any refunds of any fees, pro rata or otherwise;
  3. any outstanding balance owed to Free cash register for your use of the Services through the effective date of such termination will immediately become due and payable in full; and
  4. your store website will be taken offline.

We will never modify or terminate the Free cash register Service or your Account for any reason, without notice at any time.

Fraud: Without limiting any other remedies, Free cash register may suspend an Account if we suspect that you (by conviction, settlement, insurance or escrow investigation, or otherwise) have engaged in fraudulent activity in connection with the Site.

Which means

To initiate a cancellation, please use the button on your account page, or contact the support. Free cash register will respond with specific information regarding the cancellation process for your account.

Any fraud and we will suspend or cancel your account.

10. Modifications to the Service and Prices

  1. Prices for using the Services are subject to change upon 30 days notice from Free cash register. Such notice may be provided at any time by posting the changes to the Free cash register Site (Free cash register.com) or the administration menu of your Free cash register store via an announcement.
  2. Free cash register reserves the right at any time, and from time to time, to modify or discontinue, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice.
  3. Free cash register shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.

We may change or discontinue the service at anytime, without liability.

  3. We do not provide any warranties with respect to Third Party Services. Free cash register is not responsible for any disclosure, modification or deletion of your data or Store Content, or for any corresponding losses or damages you may suffer, as a result of access by a Third Party Service or a Third Party Provider to your data or Store Content.

Under no circumstances shall Free cash register be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, extraordinary, exemplary or other damages whatsoever, that result from any Third Party Services or your contractual relationship with any Third Party Provider, including any Expert. These limitations shall apply even if Free cash register has been advised of the possibility of such damages. The foregoing limitations shall apply to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

12. DMCA Notice and Takedown Procedure

Free cash register supports the protection of intellectual property and asks Free cash register merchants to do the same. It's our policy to respond to all notices of alleged copyright infringement. If someone believes that one of our merchants is infringing their intellectual property rights, they can send a DMCA Notice to Free cash register's designated agent using our form. Upon receiving a DMCA Notice, we may remove or disable access to the material claimed to be a copyright infringement. Once provided with a notice of takedown, the merchant can reply with a counter notification using our form if they object to the complaint. The original complainant has 14 business days after we receive a counter notification to seek a court order restraining the merchant from engaging in the infringing activity, otherwise we restore the material.

Which means

Free cash register respects intellectual property rights and you should too. If we receive a DMCA Notice, we may disable access or remove the allegedly infringing content from your website. If you don't think the claim is valid, you can proceed with a counter notification.

If you believe one of our merchants is infringing your intellectual property rights, you can send Free cash register a DMCA Notice. We will expeditiously disable access or remove the content and notify the merchant. Be advised that we post all notices we receive.
