⚙️ Discount / Extras / Automatic Items
This feature allows you to automatically add discounts, surcharges or items to an order based on predefined conditions.
Activating the feature
To enable this option, go to: Configuration > General Options > Item Catalog Options
Enable the option to manage discounts, surcharges and automatic items.
Examples of use
- Automatically add a delivery fee for takeout orders
- Apply a discount to a specific customer group
- Add a supplement for certain tables
Conditions available to trigger automatic addition
- Delivery method
- Client group
- Minimum number of items
- Table on site
- Day of the week
- Minimum item value
- Minimum number of place settings
- Cashier operating the sale
- Minimum time of day
- Maximum time of day
Multiple conditions can be combined. They must all be met to trigger the automatic action.
Configuring automatically added items
You can select both:
- A discount or a supplement
- A specific article
The automatically added article:
- Applies the VAT defined for him
- Can be debited from stock upon order validation
- Is counted in reports as a manually added item
The selected discount is applied after the possible addition of the item and is applied to a subtotal.
⚠️ Automatic discounts cannot be of the “Menu / Fixed Price” type.
